The Harbour Gallery and Cafe showcases and sells work by local artists and crafts people as well as serving delicious homemade cakes and lunches.

Situated in the picturesque harbour at Porlock Weir in Somerset, The Harbour Gallery and Cafe showcases work from local artists and craftspeople, inspired by the beautiful West Country landscape. A variety of art is on display from Painting and Ceramics to Jewellery and Crafts and exhibitors are changed every 10 weeks to ensure there is always fresh new talent on display as well as our regular fav

ourites. Whilst visiting the Gallery take time out to enjoy a drink and homemade cake or snack in our Cafe and Terrace, overlooking the Harbour. Revitalise in the tranquillity and natural beauty of this very special place.

Well, what a great farewell - I couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you to everyone who managed to make it to the The Harbour Gallery and Cafe and we missed you if you didn't get there. Lots of tea, coffee, cake and savouries were consumed. We also managed to raise another good amount for charity - this time Breast Cancer Now (a charity supporting people with this disease). Total raised £270. Thank you everyone and now on to new adventures 😀.

Don't forget, this Saturday 25th October, the closing day of The Harbour Gallery and Cafe . We really want to see as many of you as possible then, anytime between 10.00am and 1.30pm. Free drink and cake or alternative for everyone and an opportunity for me to say thank you for all your support over the years.

UPDATE I should have said it is being taken over by Bonnie, who currently works for me. It will have a new name and she will put her own touch on it. I wish her lots of success. As for me, I'm hanging up my apron, putting on my walking boots, and retiring 😃 x

A big thank you to everyone who came along to our Macmillan Coffee Morning yesterday. We raised £425 in two hours, which is amazing. So good to see so many people enjoying a coffee and slice of homemade cake in the beautiful sunshine and helping the charity at the same time.

Don't forget the next, very important, date for you diary is Saturday 25th October, my last day as owner of The Harbour Gallery and Cafe 😪. Free drink and cake or savoury for everyone. From 10.00am until 1.00pm.

Don't forget, tomorrow we are hosting a Big Macmillan Coffee Morning. All money taken during event (apart from art sales) will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Care. More details on poster attachment. Prior to a change of ownership next season, we continue with some really amazing reductions across all our remaining ceramic ranges. Everything is going fast, so come along and snap up something really special. We are still serving our full menu of tasty, homemade lunches, snacks and cakes for you to enjoy when you visit.
A couple of dates for your diaries, with more information to follow:
Friday 26th September - Macmillan Coffee Morning. All money taken for teas, coffees and cakes will be donated to the charity. Plus we will be selling a range of delicious homemade cakes to take away.
Saturday 25th October - A very special day, when we will be offering a complentary tea or coffee and homemade treat as a big thank you for your past custom.
