Did you know entry to the museum during the day is completely FREE? 👻

As a CIC, community comes first for us 🖤

We want people to be able to come in, explore, learn about Northumberland’s haunted history, chat with us and enjoy the atmosphere without worrying about the cost.

We even have a haunted library corner where you can pull up a chair and read one of our spooky books… although whether they are just books or something more 👀📚

One of the questions we get asked most is…

“How does the museum make money?”

Unfortunately like any building we still have bills to pay including rent, electric, insurance and ongoing restoration work.

The ways we keep the museum running are through:
👻 Our online shop
👻 The museum gift shop
👻 Ghost walks
👻 Workshops and events
👻 Paranormal investigations
👻 Private hire

Some people have also suggested a donation box which we will have available, but there is absolutely never any pressure.

Every like, comment, share, visit and bit of support genuinely helps keep this strange little dream alive and we appreciate it more than you know.

We cannot wait to welcome you all through the doors from 15th June 🖤

Just a little update from us 👻

Today I will be sitting down with the diary and getting back to everyone who has messaged or emailed asking about paranormal investigation dates at the museum 🖤

The response has honestly been incredible and we are so grateful for all the interest from paranormal teams wanting to investigate with us.

I will also be announcing any remaining June dates we still have available later today if there are any left 👀

Thank you all so much for your patience while we juggle renovations, opening plans, emails and everything else behind the scenes. Things are moving very quickly now and it is all starting to feel very real.

Another thing people keep asking us is… will the museum be dog friendly? 🐾

The answer is YES. Absolutely.

We love dogs here at Northumberland Haunted Museum and well behaved furry investigators are more than welcome to visit with their humans 👻

In fact… we may even have some spooky treats waiting for them at the museum 🎃🐶

We cannot guarantee the ghosts will behave though…

Would you have her in your home… or would you seal the box shut forever? 👁️

This little doll arrived looking like something straight out of a nightmare. Cracked face, haunting eyes and just enough mystery to make you question where she’s been all these years…

Honestly… imagine waking up at 3am and seeing her sitting at the end of your bed.

She’ll soon be joining the collection at the Northumberland Haunted Museum and we already have one big question…
