‘The Mad Axeman’ … so we’re back at Tynemouth this weekend and as promised here are the latest additions to my stall…Firstly we have a brand new limited edition print taken from from my original pastel portrait of the mercurial Michael Schenker. Celebrating his 50th year in music, this simply seemed the ideal way to pay tribute to my favourite rock guitarist.
Joining him will also be the next batch of limited edition framed bespoke prints from my original hand carved lino artwork of the ‘Kurgan’. With both these designs soon to be available as T-shirts and/or Hoodies, stay tuned folks and enjoy your weekend whatever you are up to.

Duracell bunny… sincere apologies as we won’t be at Tynemouth market this weekend as taking a short break to recharge the batteries. Home sweet home… okay folks here is the third design in my project of brand new military hoodies featuring the ‘Operation Veteran’ charity. So the front design of ‘Coming Home’ features my original colour painting which was inspired by a historical black & white WWII shot of a 514 Squadron Lancaster and its crew returning to their base at RAF Waterbeach, after a daylight raid on October 14th 1944. The back design again features a stylish graphic that includes direct links to the local charity ‘Operation Veteran’ which helps ex-military personnel back into civilian life after completing their service. A premium quality garment which will retail at £45 each and for every hoodie sold we will then donate £5 direct to the charity… just an ideal way for me to help support, celebrate and raise awareness of ‘Operation Veteran’.

All three designs will be available on my stall at Tynemouth from this weekend and all will be available to order online from today, at my clothing partners usual website at www.purpleparsnip.com

Aces High… okay folks here is the second design in my brand new military hoodies ‘Operation Veteran’ project… ‘Battle of Britain’ is another of my original colour drawings which was inspired by a historical black & white WWII shot of 32nd Squadron Pilots at Hawkinge airfield during the airborne conflict of summer 1940. The back print is a stylish graphic that includes direct links to the local charity ‘Operation Veteran’ which helps ex-military personnel back into civilian life after completing their service. These hoodies will retail at £45 each and for every one sold we will donate £5 direct to the charity… just an ideal way to help support, celebrate and raise awareness of ‘Operation Veteran’. 3,2,1… okay folks this Saturday at Tynemouth market sees the launch of my brand new military hoodies project, which will feature direct links to a local charity ‘Operation Veteran’ which helps ex-military personnel back into civilian life after completing their service. So the first design up today is ‘Who Dares Wins’ featuring my original colour drawing inspired by a historical black & white WWII shot of messers Stirling, Mane and the original SAS upon the front. The back is a stylish graphic that includes the charity logo, slogan and website details. This premium quality garment will retail at £45 each and for every hoodie sold we will then donate £5 direct to the charity. Following many collaborations with charity founder Jim Owens, this project just seemed an ideal way for me to help support, celebrate and raise awareness of ‘Operation Veteran’.

Coming Home… firstly a massive thank you to all those family, friends, customers and fellow traders who have helped me through the start of this incredibly tough new 2026, I’m always humbled by your amazingly kind support. Now this new week also marks the arrival of a very special project, many months in the planning and a genuine culmination of development and investment over so many years… today however is just a quick teaser, but expect much more detail over the rest of this week. The project in its own way, simply mirrors some of this kind support which I continue to receive, enabling me to keep moving forward with my art, so keep watching and I thank you all once again.

Heads up… continuing to slowly emerge from Batcave hibernation, it’s my end of month gothic weekend upon the stall at Tynemouth market this weekend. Featuring some stylish yet cozy beanies, hoodies and shirts from my Haus of Goth, Deadhedz or XTHEX brands alongside many other original designs and artwork. There can only be One… so as promised the last weekend of each month at Tynemouth Market will feature more of my gothic inspired art from the Haus of Goth and Deadhedz to the Dark Knight and my Across the Wire project, which will feature this brand new design in my Lino cut based originals series
‘The Kurgan’ is the fourth design in the XTHEX project and launches with the limited edition prints. The first batch of bespoke hand produced prints from the original hand carved plate has an extremely limited run of just TWENTY editions, each framed print is unique in its configuration and will retail at £60 each with the other editions to be released throughout December. Inspired by Clancy Brown’s villain of the ages from the classic ‘Highlander’ I will be posting more detail on the prints, the design process and the other media which the design will be featured upon, in the coming weeks. So why not visit my stall and discover some rare iconic art for your crib or simply rock that gothic look with a stylish new hoodie or tee! The Beast is back… yes folks as promised today finally see’s the arrival of a much requested addition to my XTHEX range… the ‘Slaughtered Lamb’ Hoodie. This very special limited edition of just 90 garments, will feature a modified version of my popular ‘Beware the Moon’ Lino cut design, which sold out as both prints and T-shirts last year. Inspired by the iconic ‘An American Werewolf in London’ the hoodie is printed front and back in neon green and the first batch will be at Tynemouth this weekend. Retailing at £40 each it is also available to order online through my clothing partners at www.purpleparsnip.com website from today. Be quick as we expect this rare beast to disappear very quickly. Back in Black… okay folks this is the new updated ‘Rock’n’Rolla’ t-shirt design featuring my favourite Geordie icon, Brian Johnson. Part of an ongoing plan to improve and update some existing designs in line with the front & back print profile I have adopted as standard across all my range of design based clothing. Featuring a brand new graphic for the back and an enhanced front design to also finally implement the move onto a Black t-shirt, requested by so many customers! Launching this weekend the shirt retails at £28, available at my stall at Tynemouth Market and also available to order via my clothing partners website at www.purpleparsnip.com from today. Winds of Change… the clocks go back, Halloween and Bonfire night is upon us and the nights grow longer! Yes it’s time to treat yourself to some stylish gothic gear from tees, hoodies and beanies or perhaps some delicious dark art for your crib all to help keep you warm this coming winter. So all my gothic based art will takeover the stall this weekend, especially featuring the return of my Haus of Goth brand, after many months away. Like the seasons, change is inevitable and I plan to showcase all my gothic themed art on a more regular basis on the last weekend of each month at Tynemouth from November onwards.
