Who's more fierce when practicing with weapons at Newcastle Castle ? Our lord? Our garrison man? The mercenary? Or Newcastle's own town folk? We'll let you decide!

We had a great time at Newcastle Castle today, filling it with fighting men, a prisoner, a barber surgeon and craft folk! Why not come and see us next time? We're back there on the 27th of July!

Happy holidays everyone! We have our first diary date of the new year now. On Saturday the 13th January, 2024, we'll be hosting a crafting day at the Black Gate, in the Harbottle Suite. The time is 9am - 4pm but feel free to pop in at any time.

What is it?
It is a chill session to work on new kit, old kit, other reenactment projects, or just get advice. If you have no projects, you're still welcome to come and help our new members with theirs!

Hot drinks available. Bring your own cold ones. Left over choccies/mince pies/sweet treats will also be welcome! Want more info? Please message us for more info.
