I’m off to Northumberland County Show tomorrow… as many of you know I often trade at my local shows, however this time I am honoured to have been asked to Judge the Creative North Marquee!

Such an exciting opportunity and I truly can’t wait to see what amazing crafts & creations are up for prizes 🙌🏼

Some of you may have spotted some familiar work in Rothbury recently… because you can now find my prints & originals in (along with tons of yummy food, cocktails, coffees & more!)

Just like that, the Northumberland Open Exhibition is over for another year!

I was so happy to be part of this wonderful exhibition for the second time.

Two out of my three paintings from the Woodhorn trio have sold, with ‘Morning In Motion’ finding a new home right at the very end. I’m delighted it’s off to its new home, as well as my beloved owl ❤️

I’m happy to be bringing the remaining painting back home with me! My lovely pheasant.

My pheasant is a very special piece to me, as it was only the third painting I created at Hally Mason Art.

On the easel today.

I love this mid part of the painting process - you spot the elements that will later draw you into the piece and yet can see it needs so much more work, it’s an exciting hint of what’s to come…

A sister painting to ‘is that my dress?’ This piece pulls nostalgia into the present day as a reminder that many childlike joys still exist. You just have to remember to see them.
