The Cookie Jar Designer Market The Cookie Jar Designer Market was a not-for-profit market held at The Holy Biscuit, Shieldfield, Newcastle upon Tyne. It has now closed.

The Cookie Jar Designer Marker offers a wide range of designer products, including jewellery, pottery, paintings, handmade craft items and other design products. We particularly want to promote the work of local artists and designers, and offer free tables to new designer makers and charities. Entry for the public is free. Refreshments, including coffee, tea, cakes and cookies are available. We ha

The Market is held at The Holy Biscuit which is a unique and alternative events space in Newcastle. There are 2 galleries available for hire for exhibitions or for meetings and gatherings. See http://www.theholybiscuit.org. The building is completely self contained with 2 white space rooms – The Sanctuary and The Vestry – with oak floors, wi-fi, heating and air conditioning, kitchen facilities, toilets and an office. With parking for up to 20 cars and located a few minutes from public transport routes this is an ideal location for exhibitions and events.

Hello Cookies - thought I would remind you about a forthcoming exhibition at The Holy Biscuit, in September .... and its associated Peace Blanket! It isn't too late to make your square(s) and be part of this inspiring project. No matter what your skill level in crafting is, just try it out. 20cm square for the main design, with an additional 1cm border for making up. Send to Margaret at The Holy Biscuit by 1 October at latest!!!

Just a couple of days and then we will be holding our June - and last - Cookie Jar for a while. Saturday 13 June.
