Jane Armstrong Art Armstrong Art is a local business based in the North East of England, and now in PERTH WA,selling unique, fresh, simple art work by Jane Armstrong.

I grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. I am the youngest of seven children who share a love of the great outdoors. Somewhat inevitably, I have an affinity with nature. I particularly love the environments in which I have lived; and this is evidenced in my illustrations of wildlife and the flora and fauna of my beloved home country in the UK and also inspiration from Australia after spending ma

ny years there. Having experimented with other media, I prefer to work in ink. Despite working quickly I am undeterred by the fact that, once committed to paper, ink is not easily removed; a stubbornness that highlights itself even in microscopic slip ups. “The natural world doesn’t tidy up after itself.”

My work is currently exhibited in the Biscuit Factory, Newcastle and will be used in the design of two showcase suites in Jesmond Dene House, Newcastle. My work is also proving very popular and is being exhibited in many galleries in Western Australia. Please get in touch if you would like to view the work!
