My latest commission gone to its new home last Tuesday night. A very satisfied customer indeed, when the first question is, showing me a faded photo, when I get a better photo will you paint this. Very happy to oblige. This is a 30x20 canvas board, oils in a double frame. For this customer, it's memories of his late Mum who hailed from Co Clare. This is the Chapel where she worshipped, the school she attended, the famous Loop Head lighthouse, the Bridge of Rosses, there used to be two, one was swept away in a storm, and last but not least the Homestead. Hope it all brings happy memories for him and his family. It was a pleasure working on it.
