Faith Okorodudus' art practice is rooted in truth and emotion, reflecting personal and shared experiences. Using vibrant colours and expressive brush strokes, she explores African themes- culture, tradition, lifestyle, and the grotesque highlighting the complexities of the human condition. Women are central in Okorodudus* work, symbolising resilience and layered identity, shaped by my connection to womanhood. She works across painting, drawing, collage, and mixed media, using materials like acrylics, oils, charcoal, and pastel. Each piece is a meditative process that inspires new techniques and series. Her art is also a form of activism engaging with the narratives of Africa and Black identity in all their richness.
