This year's theme is Pick a Poet and whether you're a lifelong poetry enthusiast or simply curious to explore, everyone is welcome.

Don't forget to bring along or purchase a copy of a poetry book by a Black poet before the event.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Open Archive event last night! It was a wonderful evening, and we were delighted to welcome so many visitors to explore the archive, share memories, and discover the stories that connect our community.

It was fantastic to see so many conversations sparked by the photographs, documents, and personal histories on display. Your enthusiasm, questions, and contributions made the event truly special.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and helped make the evening such a success. We look forward to welcoming you to our upcoming events as we continue celebrating and sharing our local heritage.
