Illuminate : Museums Nottingham Museums Young Arts Collective for 15-24 year olds

Illuminate, Nottingham Museums Young Arts Collective is a group of 16- 25 year olds who meet at the Brewhouse Yard Museum every Wednesdays from 4.00-5.30

In partnership with Nottingham Museums, we work with Museum staff and artists to devise and take part in creative projects, create exhibitions and share ideas around how Nottingham Museums can be made more interesting and accessible.

General information

We have created art work for a city centre exhibition, ran tours around BAS7, written and performed in a film shown as part of an exhibition at Nottingham Castle, curated a show around the theme of Love in partnership with Tate Modern and most recently created an animation , curated a show of the Castle's collection of Chinese Textiles and created Sculptual costumes for our end of exhibition event.
