Immerse yourself in the world famous story of Irish emigration at the museum that brings it to life. Follow the emigrant trail as you journey from the thatched cottages of Ulster, on board a full scale emigrant sailing ship leading to the log cabins of the American Frontier. Meet an array of costumed characters on your way with traditional crafts to show, tales to tell and food to share. Do you have a query? We're here Monday-Sunday 10am to 5pm. Illness, fear and misfortune plague the town of Proctor's Folly. As suspicion spreads, the townsfolk blame witchcraft, and an accused 'witch' is condemned to die.

Join us on a Torchlight Tour as we accompany the accused on the eve of their ex*****on. Will the truth emerge before the ex*****oner passes judgement?

"The American house making its home in Omagh."

Catch our Senior Curator of History, Victoria Millar, on UTV Northern Ireland tonight in Hidden NI at 7.30pm 📺 Join Victoria as she shares objects from museum storage connected to the McGavock House, a rare surviving log dwelling with strong Ulster connections.

Built in Virginia by or for the family of James McGavock Sr., born near Glenarm, County Antrim and who immigrated to America around the mid-18th century, the house offers a tangible link to the experience of Ulster immigrants on the frontier.

It is one of the Ulster American Folk Park's most significant, yet least-seen, collection stories.

All summer and until the end of September, we have been telling The STORIES OF US at the Ulster American Folk Park, exploring the connections between Ulster and America, marking 250 years since the Declaration of Independence and the Folk Park's 50th anniversary.
