Thank you to RBSA GALLERY judges for selecting one of my paintings, ‘Autumn Seeds’ for their latest exhibition.

I visited yesterday and it was such an exciting moment to see my work hung in this historic and prestigious gallery. I felt really proud 😊

If you’re in or near Birmingham do pop in. There is an abundance of fabulous art on display in all sorts of mediums. And they’re all for sale!

Learnt so much on a great art retreat in France with Pete Monaghan organised by Morag Young Got a grip with en pleine air sketching, using dried flower heads as a tool and walnut liquor and grapes as a medium 😳 Then rip it into collage papers et voila! Very enjoyable. Just experimenting with no plan in mind. So good 😊 And big thanks to Pete Monaghan for his teaching, Morag Young for hosting us and Ailene Vrana MacDougall for lots of laughs and a new friendship 🙏

Recommendation! Beautiful art magazine. Comes out quarterly, this is the Autumn edition from
You can buy on and you can also listen to her very helpful podcast and she has also published 2 books. I have found SO helpful in setting up my art business.

Enjoy your day and hope you manage to fit in something creative.
