Our friends at MidNAG have a Lecture at Fletton House at 7.30pm on Friday 27th March.
Steve Sherlock will be talking to us about the Prehistory of Street House - from Salt to Ceremonies.
Street House in North East Yorkshire is remarkable for the wealth of prehistoric deposits that have been excavated in the last ten years. Starting with a Neolithic salt making site and associated settlement, excavations in the last two years have now revealed further Late Neolithic- Early Bronze Age ceremonial sites that have resonance in the East of England at the site known as "Seahenge".
We look forward to seeing many of you there for what we’re sure will be a fascinating talk.
All lectures take place at 7.30pm in the Glapthorn Room, Fletton House, Fletton Way, Glapthorn Road, Oundle PE8 4JA.
