🎁 A little box can bring a lot of joy!

The VC Gallery is a collection point for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes this year. If you’re taking part, you can drop your filled shoebox off with us ❤️

National Collection Week is 9–16 November. See the shared post for packing guidance and how to get involved.

Thank you for helping bring a smile to a child this Christmas! 🎄

🎉 Shoebox Season is HERE! 🎁It’s officially time to start packing Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes!

This year, you can send joy, hope, and the message of Jesus to a child who may never have received a gift before. Every shoebox is a tangible expression of God’s love and an opportunity to share the Gospel with children in need around the world.

Whether you pack one shoebox, rally your church, school, or workplace, or build a shoebox online, now is the perfect time to get involved.

Start packing today: SamaritansPurse.org.uk/Pack ❤️📦

🔫 What a fantastic afternoon!

The VC Gallery Veterans and Peer Mentors had a brilliant time taking part in an Air R***e Competition with MVCC (Military Veterans Club Cymru) Llanelli Veterans. 🎯

The range was hosted and run by Go Sport Target Shooting, who looked after all the safety, coaching and shooting throughout the afternoon — a huge thank you to them!

❤️ As well as a bit of friendly competition, it was a great opportunity for networking, catching up and making new connections between the groups.

There were even a couple of lovely coincidences along the way — Tony Burton met a veteran who used to live just around the corner from him in Shoreham, while John Richardson met a fellow Merchant Navy veteran!

And of course, we have to announce our best shots of the day… 👏

🥇 1st – John Pulsar – VC Gallery & former 2nd Battalion, Parachute Regiment
🥈 2nd – Colleen Chinnery – CFAV Royal Welsh & MVCC Volunteer
🥉 3rd – Donna Evans – former QDG Cadet & VC Volunteer

🦁 A special thank you also goes to Julianne, who was absolutely roarsome and spent the afternoon dressed as a lion as the VC Gallery mascot! 😂❤️

Everyone reported having a fantastic afternoon, and we’re already looking forward to getting together again on 5th November.

👀 Fancy joining us next time?

Keep an eye on our page for details of the next veterans’ trip and make sure you reserve your place — we’d love to have you along! 🎯 Veterans' Foundation Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust
