Our friends at Cumbria Printmakers have just announced Exploration and Discovery - an exhibition of exciting and dynamic work by their members at Farfield Mill, Sedbergh! Many among this group of talented creatives are also EVAN members, including Denise Mason of Caldbeck Crafters Co-operative, Dorothy Ramsay - Artist, Elli Logan-Airey, The Art of Emily Brooks, Glenn Tomkinson, Janis Young, Kirsten Gilder, Magda Brugier Atelier, Polly Marix Evans - Artist and Ray Ogden.

This weekend (Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May) is your LAST CHANCE to catch the Open Studios of EVAN member Haydn Morris Artist, as well as fellow artists Debbie Akam and Gary Power in Tirril & Sockbridge near Penrith!

Landscape painter Haydn Morris works mainly in oils and watercolours, inspired by the Cumbrian Fells and the Scottish Islands, where changing light, weather and atmosphere play a central role. His work can be seen in local galleries, including EVAN. He was recently part of Rheged’s 25th Anniversary exhibition.

Abstract painter Debby Akam and sculptor Gary Power work from their studios near the River Eamont, inspired by the surrounding Eden Valley landscape and by travel. They have recently returned from a four-week artists’ residency at the Tasara Arts and Weaving Centre in Calicut, South India.
