The sun came out after a rainy start yesterday for my Women Artists Study Day in Penzance with talks at the Queens Hotel followed after lunch by a visit to the excellent “Making her mark” exhibition Penlee House Gallery & Museum. Thanks to those who came along and for your input.

After seeing the wonderful exhibition "Making Her Mark" A celebration of Women Artists at Penlee House Gallery & Museum in Penzance yesterday, I am really looking forward to presenting my study day inspired by this exhibition. There are still places left on May 13th 10.00am -3.00pm and on June 17th so please join me in exploring the background story to some of the artists on show from Newlyn to Scotland via Malvern . The days consist of a morning of 3 x 40 minute lectures at the Queens Hotel in Penzance which is situated at the seafront end of Morrab Road, after lunch it is a short walk up the road to Penlee House where we can take a closer look at the works on display by this wide and varied seleciton of women artsts. There is free parking at the hotle (if free spaces) or £2.50 in Penlee car park all day.
