The Be Heard 2.0 survey is live!

Peterborough residents are invited once again to share their views on creativity, arts and heritage in the city. Your response can help shape how creative and cultural activity is planned across Peterborough.

Whether you regularly attend events, visit heritage sites, take part in creative activity, or don’t currently feel connected to these opportunities, we want to hear from you.

The 2024 survey showed that culture helps people feel happier, more connected to others, and gave us an insight into what people want to see in the city. This year, help us build a stronger picture of what matters to residents and where more meaningful opportunities can grow.

Our exhibition, Bronze Age Boat Discoveries at Must Farm, is a fantastic opportunity for visitors to see the Bronze Age and Iron Age log boats on display. The exhibition:

🛶Three original log boats dating from 2,500–3,500 years ago
🛶Replica Bronze Age tools and detailed interactive displays
🛶Film clips of expert interviews and demonstrations of ancient craftsmanship

These rare artefacts offer an unparalleled glimpse into prehistory life - how people built, travelled, and traded across the watery Fenlands. The other log boats continue to be carefully preserved in climate-controlled conditions and can be seen in our Conservation Barn on site.

For those who want to find out more, Flag Fen also offers private guided tours. Led by knowledgeable guides, these tours explore both the wider Flag Fen site and the detailed conservation work that has helped protect these fascinating artefacts for the future.
