The museum will be open again this coming Sat 13 and Sun 14 June. Come along for a train ride, drive a train using our Simulator, see our lamps, plates, railway chairs or browse the artefacts and chat about old times on the Buchan Line.

It's Volunteers Week 1-7 June. At the museum we could do with more help to meet and greet our visitors. Interested? Drop in past any Wednesday or Saturday. And if you're interested in our old chairs you could purchase one and make it into feature at your door or make it into a boot brush.

One of our volunteers, happy at his work. If you'd like to join us and help keep the museum going come along this weekend, the museum will be open Sat 23 and Sun 24 May 1030-1600. Of course you can also drive a train on our Simulator, view our exhibits, visit our Lamp Room, have a look around the Prison Van or enjoy our model railways. Come along and see all the things we offer for yourself. Donations welcome too.

What's in the painty box? Rob was down at the Maud Railway Museum today to donate the Maud Mart box of cattle brands. The brands would have marked cows which were transported on trains to their new homes so what better place to donate them? The museum is open the first and last weekends of the month and is very much worth a visit!
