Did you guess our latest round of Plymouth I-Spy?
Well done to many of you for playing along and knowing that this cornucopia with the wording Labour and Perseverance is on the front of St. Teresa's house on Beaumont Road. Now student accommodation the building was formally St Teresa’s Bakery and store and was the first new commercial building to be built post-war in Plymouth in 1948. The structure's notable architecture was designed by Gordon Tait. The upper floors of the building were used by the South Western Electricity Board (SWEB) and Dingle’s department store as office space. The site later transitioned to a Tesco Express with the student accommodation above.
Watch out for our next round of I-Spy.

🐈‍⬛Mischief the resident Barbican cat visited us at the Mayflower Museum and Tourist Information today. He sat on the chair for a while and then visited the Museum and entertained the visitors. Maybe he was learning about the 2 dogs that sailed on the Mayflower in 1620!
