Lost Entity Paranormal

The Philippeville Ring, 1956

Purchased in Philippeville, Algeria, in 1956, this ring is said to evoke unusual sensations in those who wear it, followed by an eerie quiet, as though an unseen presence has entered the room. Some have reported an unsettling feeling of being watched.

The ring was donated to the collection and has been kept in storage in the old living room since 2024. It will now be displayed in the main Haunted Objects Museum room at the Hanbury.

Several other items remain in storage and are awaiting organisation as we continue preparing the old living room to open to the public as Emily’s Room in 2027.

We also have a collection of historic, antique and social history items relating to the Hanbury building and the local town. These will be carefully brought out of storage and put on display over the coming months as we continue to develop the museum and share more of the building’s history with our visitors.

An antique 1920’s Mourning Pendant, it’s a mother and child’s hair cut and fashioned into this design when they died 😢😭😫
There’s also a piece of mourning wear material in there.

Our October weekend dates are now SOLD OUT, but if you’d still like to experience a private paranormal investigation at the Hanbury, we have some midweek availability remaining throughout October.

We know October is an especially popular time of year for paranormal investigations, so these dates are a great opportunity for groups who have missed out on our weekends.

👻 8-Hour Private Paranormal Investigation – £250
7pm–3am

Exclusive private hire for your group to investigate the Hanbury throughout the night.

🛏️ Private Overnight Sleepover – £400
7pm–9am

Stay overnight and have exclusive private access to investigate and sleep inside this historic haunted building.

Your group can explore areas including our Haunted Objects Museum, Victorian Séance Parlour, former mortuary and atmospheric medieval cellars, as well as the other investigation areas within the property.

Although October is particularly popular with paranormal groups, midweek private hire is available throughout the year, subject to availability. So even when our weekends are fully booked, there is often still an opportunity to book the Hanbury midweek.
