Tomorrow is SOUTHSEA FOLK Magazine launch! Come on down and see Pogo and Lou. The artist is launching a new painting and will have a special little surprise for visitors.

Open from 11am and greeting people from 11.30am, it looks set to be a cool Saturday.

Pogo also has some new rad stickers you don't want to miss out on!

So this is going to be a rad one…..

The Bristol connection AKA Paul 'Monsters' Roberts is taking over the gallery from tomorrow for his solo show!

Expect lots of colour and lots of interdimensional craziness and to top it all off, a whole bunch of combo pieces from some top shelf artists.

Come on down from Thursday the 2nd of October for the opening 6pm until 9pm.

This Friday sees The Corner Collective open its doors to a new show, called ‘Everything You Know Is Wrong’, having had a quiet stretch over the Summer after such a busy spring season of exhibitions.

The artist who will be displaying his art is Cav, and he has known Fark Fk for a long time. I managed a sneak peek on Wednesday as all the wrapping was being taken off the display pieces. There is a mixture of art pieces in various sizes, ranging from A6 to huge pieces that will captivate your senses.

JUNE HIGHLIGHTS

We have already had an amazing first weekend of June, which saw Portsmouth Pride happen and events across town, but there is still lots to see and do over the month.

I am excited to see James Holleran and his exhibition 'Here' at The Corner Collective from tomorrow.

Jacqui Mair still has her amazing Collage Chronicles exhibition on at The Jack House Gallery, and I particularly love the collage birds on vintage book boards!

The Pitt St. Skatepark - An Undercover Skatepark Project has a fab day planned on the 21st to celebrate its Plaza outside area that has been built.
