🌊Join artist heatherbyrne1 this June for Plein Air by the Sea—a series of outdoor painting and drawing workshops along the coast.

📍 Saturdays 6, 13 & 20 June | 10am–1pm
Week 1 is at Castlerock Beach.

Explore the feeling of being by the sea through sketching, drawing and painting, from quick expressive marks to more developed studies. Working outdoors, you’ll respond directly to shifting light, colour and atmosphere with Heather’s guidance.

We are inviting artists, artisans, designers, makers, photographers, storytellers and creative businesses to become part of The Gathering – a curated community of talent that will help tell the story of the Causeway Coast.
We want to hear your story. Tell us about your connection to this place, how it has inspired your work and what makes your creative practice unique.
Our goal is to identify and connect with exceptional talent, shortlist potential collaborators and suppliers, and issue commercial briefs and commissions as the hotel development progresses.

Ballywillan Drama Group is proud to present our next production, Dancing at Lughnasa by Brian Friel.

Set in the summer of 1936, Friel’s award-winning masterpiece follows the five Mundy sisters as they navigate family bonds, changing times, unspoken dreams, and the fleeting moments of joy that make life worth celebrating. At its heart is a story of love, resilience, memory, and the irresistible urge to dance when words are no longer enough.

🐠 We’re still smiling at these brilliant fab fish masterpieces created with Linda Doodles Art Company at the weekend! Full of colour, imagination and ocean magic, these fishy friends have us so excited for a summer of sea-themed creativity at Flowerfield Arts Centre. 🌊✨

This summer our galleries will be transformed by The Sea We Share — a magical exhibition for children and families featuring the imaginative worlds of children’s book illustrators Czacarri Muli, EM Emerson Art and Corrina Askin. Expect selkies, mermaids, underwater adventures, storytelling, hands-on art and plenty of opportunities for little imaginations to dive deep into creativity. 🐚🧜‍♀️🎨

Alongside our workshops and storytelling sessions, children will have so much to explore and try throughout the galleries, with creative activity spaces inspired by the exhibition where they can make, colour, play and let their imaginations sail.
