Lip Synch Lockdown Blackpool
As a life long fan of Ru Paul and after being forced into isolation in the current strange and surreal times of Spring 2020. I found myself at a loose end, all my photography jobs had cancelled, I was coming to the end of my deep cleaning obsession at home, but then one of my fav songs began to play on the radio: Marvin Gaye and Tammy Terrell: Aint No Mountain......I wondered if I could get folks to send me clips of themselves lip synching to this ace tune and knew that it might be a distraction for them for me...…..
The absolute joy I felt as clips began to roll in with some of the lip synching so heart felt and joyous - I though “I gotta do this again” - I am interested in these “lockdown” times how we remain connected and what might keep us positive in these really surreal times. How shared experiences make us and what we might remember of these times.
