We are grateful to the Crown Licensing team at the MoD for permission to produce these and hope to have them in stock in the next month or so.

Today is International Civil Aviation Day!

Today we would like to shine a light on two Lancasters in civil ownership.

There is one Lancaster flying on the Canadian civil register as C-GVRA with the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum which you can actually fly in!

In the UK, there is one Lancaster on the civil register as G-ASXX undergoing restoration to flight by the dedicated team at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre

And of course, although still in military ownership, we're lucky to have PA474 with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (Official).

If you would like to gain an insight into what it might have taken to fly a Lancaster, you can book an experience on our stunning simulator for just £75.

This week we had the pleasure of welcoming Clive and Nigel who's father, Sgt. John Saunders, was a rear gunner with 44 (Rhodesia) Sqn. They both flew the simulator assisted by volunteer Darren.

Saunders' aircraft, Lancaster B. III ED348, was shot down on the 1st of October 1943. He bailed out and spent the rest of the war as a POW in Stalag IVB.

Clive is currently working on some beautiful souvenir pin badges for us and more details will be shared when they are available.

We will be featuring more of Sgt. Saunders' story in due course.

We were pleased to host a couple of RAF re-enactors on Monday, who kindly sent us a message of thanks:

'Just wanted to say a huge "Thank you" to the team for making my simulator flight such a fantastic experience on Monday afternoon.

The instructor and volunteers were extremely accommodating to our pictures, and explained and guided me through the flight.'
