๐Ÿ’šToday the Cole Museum is celebrating !

Sparrows are adaptable and resilient urban explorers, playing an important role in insect pest control helping to maintain our ecosystems.

๐ŸŒณSince the start of their population decline in the 1970s, the sparrow population has reduced by 60% in the UK resulting from loss of nesting sites and lack of food due to urbanisation. This has had a significant consequence to environmental health, signalling a broader ecosystem collapse in shared environments across the globe.

So today, donโ€™t forget the effort of our small-winged neighbours in keeping our home in good shape! ๐ŸŒ
