As we have overseas visitors with us tomorrow, 19 June, the Museum will be open to the public between 10.00 and 12.30

Yn anffodus, oherwydd salwch, fydd yr argraffwyr ddim yn yr Amgueddfa ddydd Sadwrn. Byddan ymwled â ni eto ar 8fed Chwefror.

Because of illness, the printers won’t be with us this coming Saturday. They will be with us next on 8th February.

As part of the Cadw ‘Open Doors’, Risca Museum will be open on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September between 10.00 and 16.00. At the same time, the Model Railway Society upstairs will also be open. A rare chance for visitors to see their systems.

Risca Museum attracts visitors from all over the world. More recently was the visit by the MP for Newport West and Islwyn, Ruth Jones. As is often the case with our visitors, she was surprised by the wide range of artefacts which we have. So come and visit us; you’ll be pleasantly surprised, we’re sure. We are open on Saturdays between 10 and 12.30.
