There’s a lot of creativity tucked away upstairs in the Market House!

Made in Ross brings together 15 local artists and makers, all creating their work in and around Ross-on-Wye. From pottery, paintings and prints to jewellery, textiles, felt work, woodcraft, glass and much more, our gallery is full of colour, variety and original ideas.

Behind every creation are hours of work, skill and patience, and we’re proud to share what we do with you.

There’s always an artist or maker behind the desk, ready to chat about their work, explain how something was made or answer any questions. We love talking about what we do!

You’ll find us upstairs in the beautiful historic Market House, right in the centre of Ross-on-Wye. There’s lift access, and well-behaved dogs are very welcome.

Open every day from 10am–4pm.

Have you been upstairs in the Market House lately?

Our gallery is full of colour, creativity and things you might not expect to find. With work from 15 local artists and makers, there’s plenty to explore, whether you’re looking for a gift, something for your home or simply fancy a browse.

From original artwork and prints to pottery, jewellery, textiles and a wide variety of other locally made creations, every visit offers something different to discover.

And it’s not just about looking and buying. There’s always an artist or maker behind the desk, ready to answer questions, talk about their work and explain the processes behind what they create.

We’re upstairs in the historic Market House in the centre of Ross-on-Wye. There’s lift access, and well-behaved dogs are very welcome too.

Could your creative talent be part of something special in Ross-on-Wye?

We’re inviting artists and makers to enter the ‘Our Town Exhibition’ at Made in Ross, in the historic Market House.

Entry is FREE and open to everyone aged 16 and over. Whether you’re an established artist, a keen amateur or someone who simply loves creating, we’d love to hear from you!

Applications are open until 5 February 2027, so there’s time to get involved.

The exhibition will run from 19 March to 18 April 2027, celebrating the creativity and talent of our community.

15 artists and makers. Countless hours of creativity. One very special gallery.

Everything you see at Made in Ross is created locally to Ross-on-Wye by our group of 15 artists and makers. Behind every painting, pot, print, piece of jewellery or textile is someone who has spent time learning, experimenting, solving problems and perfecting their craft.

Collectively, there are hundreds — if not thousands — of hours of work on display, and we all love what we do.

One of the lovely things about visiting us is that there’s always an artist or maker behind the desk who’ll be happy to chat. Ask us about how something was made, the materials we use, the inspiration behind our work or anything else that catches your eye.

You’ll find us upstairs in the beautiful historic Market House in the centre of Ross-on-Wye.

Head upstairs in the historic Market House in the centre of Ross-on-Wye and discover a colourful mix of art, craft and lovely things to buy.

The Market House is part of the experience too. Take the stairs or lift upstairs and have a look through the magnificent oak doors, which open out over the marketplace.

Made in Ross is an arts & crafts gallery, in the beautiful historic Market House, right in the centre of Ross-on-Wye, in the Market Place. Visit us this weekend.

The Market House itself is a wonderful piece of architecture and well worth a visit, with its distinctive character and magnificent oak doors looking out over the marketplace. Our arts and crafts gallery is upstairs, accessible by either lift or stairs.

Inside, you’ll find a fabulous and colourful display of work by 15 local artists and makers.

There’s something to discover around every corner, including individually made pieces and limited edition prints, silk ties and jewellery, quilted patchwork, felt art, handmade buttons and even — sorry about the C word! — Christmas decorations.

There’s an artist or maker at the desk every day who will be happy to answer any questions and tell you more about the work on display.

We’re open daily from 10am–4pm.
