We welcome you to Clifton Park Museum, Rotherham Archives, Boston Castle, five heritage sites across Rotherham and The York and Lancaster Regimental museum. Our extensive displays include famous exhibits such as Nelson the Lion and the breath-taking Rhinoceros Vase, the first ever porcelain vase cast in one piece! The park has a free Waterspl

ash area for children,play areas for toddlers to teens,skate park,quiet memorial gardens,rock garden,tennis courts,bowling greens,allotment style kitchen garden and loads of open greenspace.

Happy International Children's Day📣✨ Cub Club June Reminder! ✨📣

Next month’s Nelson’s Cub Club tickets are now live — grab them while you can!

June Sessions at Clifton Park Museum:

Come along and explore the weird and wonderful objects at Clifton Park Museum. Nelson would like to know if you collect anything special

Nelson is feeling thirsty! Shall we have a tea party? Did you know that Rockingham pottery was made locally in Swinton! They made lots of fancy cups, saucers, plates and teapots that are perfect for a summer picnic.

Nelson and his Lion family have been to meet Hugh the wolverine. Wolverines lived in British Woodland a long time ago. Join Nelson to discover animals that we might find in woodland through sounds, movement and play!

We're all set for our Nelson's Cub Club session today but due to the high temperatures forecast we will be working indoors in the shade. This will reduce our capacity but our sensory play space will be available if Nelson's Cub Club becomes full.
