Showing a diverse mix of contemporary visual art from it's members, whilst also featuring invited shows and work chosen by guest curators.

We are excited to invite artists working across mediums of painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, and jewellery to submit to our upcoming open exhibition!

Each artist can submit a maximum of 3 artworks, with an entry fee of £10 per artwork. To apply, please bring the work (unwrapped) to the gallery between 11-4pm on the 14th November along with your application form and fees.

IMPORTANT DATES ❗️
Hand-in day will be on the 14th November (11-4pm) and the outcome of the selection process will be emailed to participants the following week, in time for the exhibition to open on Friday 20th November. We require any unselected work to be collected as soon as possible following the 20th November, but collection for any selected work will be on 2nd January 2027.

TIMELINES by STISA members Craig Underhill, Jen Williams, and Mary Scott is taking over the Crypt Gallery following a busy September Festival!

‘Following their successful joint exhibition last year, three local artists, Craig Underhill, Jen Williams and Mary Scott, all members of the St Ives Society of Artists, are returning to the Society with a new exhibition ‘Time Lines: the language of landscape in paint, clay and silver’. It will be in the Society’s Crypt Gallery from Saturday 26th September until Friday 9th October and will feature paintings, ceramics and silver jewellery.

The artists are all deeply connected to and inspired by the ancient coast and moorland of West Penwith: whether granite, standing stones, rugged cliffs, beach or sea, the Cornish landscape is at the heart of their collections. This shared connection draws them towards sharing exhibition space’.

There will be a celebration with drinks on Saturday 3rd October, 17.00 -19.00.
