We had a lovely time at this week when we brought our donations from the Fabric Mountain Travelling Threads project. We raised over £400 and we brought some of the fabulous textile treasures by our competitors to show the Women's Aid staff!

Thank you so much to everyone who took part in our Fabric Mountain Competition! You raised over £400 for simply by taking unwanted material away and using your own creativity to create some fabulous textile art. The range of design concepts and skill blew us away. Whoopdedoo - Fabric Mountain Week has started! Ever been in an art exhibition and wanted to poke and prod the installation, feel the texture, touch the no touch signs, rip it all apart, set off the alarms???? We can scratch that itch! Open today and from Tuesday 2nd to Saturday 6th September, we invite you to call in and help us deconstruct our Fabric Mountain. Take away some fabric or our lovely textile goodies , leave a donation for and make some fabulous with it!

We are excited to announce the Find Me, Make Me , Finish Me competition as part of our Travelling Threads exhibition at Top Floor Art. This initiative promotes the recycling and creative reuse of fabric scraps.

How it works:
1. Visit us during Fabric Mountain Week (30 August to 6 September) to select one or two pieces of fabric in exchange for a donation of your choice to our designated charity
2. Create something extraordinary!
3. Return your masterpiece to the gallery, where our esteemed judges will evaluate all entries.
4. Celebrate at the award ceremony (date tbc)

The competition will feature several categories and will span six weeks following the exhibition conclusion. Participants will have the chance to win a stunning embroidered sculpture by artist and studio member , as well as luxurious hampers filled with textile goodies sponsored by , all to inspire your creative journey!
