The Bluestocking and The Shepherdess: Bloomsbury Life at Ham Spray
Join us and the wonderful Studio Theatre for a fascinating evening performance exploring one of the 20th century's most creative households, as part of our โSummer of Bloomsburyโ events.
From 1924 to 1960, Dora Carrington and Frances Partridge transformed Ham Spray House โ a modest mid-Victorian farmhouse in the Wiltshire countryside โ into a cultural hub. Writers, painters, sculptors, and filmmakers gathered there, their lives recorded in intimate letters and diaries that reveal a world of Bloomsbury-style creativity, friendship, and unconventional living.
