When I was asked if I do picture restoration I had to explain that picture restoration is very specialised and also very expensive.
The customer had three watercolours painted by her Great Aunt back in 1912 which had been badly damaged and although they had great sentimental value they were not of a quality that warrantied spending a fortune on.
I suggested that we could have the paintings photographed and the damage could be photoshopped out so that is what we did.
The customer is very pleased with the results.

The photo was taken in 1917 and shows a young Lieutenant being presented to Queen Mary after being mentioned in dispatches. Like other frames that I have been asked to make this one has been a real pleasure to do.
