Ruth Collett Visual Artist Multi-media digital artist and performer living & working in Scarborough, North Yorkshire My art practise is quirky and eclectic.

I am a visual and performance artist living and working in Scarborough. I follow my gut when first working on a subject and in the hands on making,
and then use my head to discover why I feel passionately about that subject. I work in different media and pick what suggests will serve the subject best –
but often in the preparatory work I’ll use a range of approaches; photography,
drawing, cera

mics, collections and writing. My work covers photography including calendars, ceramics, video & live art
