'Stronger Seams, Beyond Coal' will be moving from EDAN Gallery shortly for its second location of Arts Centre Washington and we would like to invite you all to the Open Evening on 18th June between 6pm and 8pm.

It's the last week of 'Stronger Seams, Beyond Coal' at EDAN Gallery. Head along before 3pm on Saturday 6th June or you'll have to hang on to see the show in an expanded form at Arts Centre Washington later in the month.

From Tuesday 9th June we have 'Extravaganza' on display at EDAN Gallery for you, this is one of our open exhibitions where there is no theme and artists can simply enter work they wish to show. It promises to be a special and eclectic mix, I can't wait to see it up.

The exhibition is heading to Arts Centre Washington a little later in the month but still available to see at EDAN Gallery, Seaham until Saturday 6th June.

'Stronger Seams, Beyond Coal' at EDAN Gallery right now.

The weather has been beautiful and we are all hoping it continues but let's face it, we don't need good weather to head to a seaside town and take in a bit of art, do we?

Right now at EDAN Gallery there is a fabulous exhibition with something for everyone, traditional paintings, modern sculptures, photography, print, jewellery, woodworking, ceramics, glass and more.

What a wonderful evening at EDAN Gallery for our private view of Stronger Seams, Beyond Coal (19th May 26).

Thank you to everyone from Durham University and Durham Energy Institute who attended, it was wonderful to see you all. Equally, thank you to all the artists who came along to talk about your work.

An extra big thank you to Dawn Routledge for the amazing home prepared food, to Roger Gadd for his emergency shopping trip, to Angela Sandwith for sorting the drinks and to everyone who did all the behind the scenes organising.
