Congratulations to Year 6 pupils from Seaton Primary School on a hugely successful visit to the Museum last week.
What fantastic company they were! Amazing ambassadors for the school.
Many thanks to Mr Delfosse and the team for organising the trip. We can't wait to see them again in July when we host their finished Heritage Trail project. 😊

Hurrah! The Museum is now open for 2026!
Thank you to Richard Foord MP for visiting us yesterday to celebrate the start of the 2026 season. AVHA members, volunteers and special guests enjoyed a preview of all the exciting changes made over the winter. We are open to the public from Monday 25th May. 😃

It was great to welcome Year 6 pupils from Seaton Primary School to the Museum this morning. They were marvellous ambassadors for the school. We hope they had a great time and look forward to them coming back when their heritage trail project is complete. 😀

We're delighted to be able to help Seaton Tramway with a forthcoming children's event. We've put together a number of items for short term loan to go on display as part of an evacuation-themed activity. Good luck to Diane and the Tramway team - We hope the event is a great experience for everyone involved. 😃

Seaton Museum are exhibiting our temporary railway/tramway display “Departure & Arrival” at the Town Meeting in the Town Hall this evening. So if you would like to see it and can’t manage the museum stairs, come along.

Thanks to Mark Horner of Seaton Tramway for collaborating on a new display about the Seaton Branch Line and the Tramway. There are lots of new photos, plans and documents to see, as well as original film footage.
We are open this week 'till Thursday, then from 25th May.😃
