About All Good Stuff at Butcher Works

All Good Stuff is a non-profit Community Interest Company, founded in 2013 to promote the work of local artists and makers in Sheffield and South Yorkshire, and to provide a space for workshops, exhibitions and other artist-led projects. Our Gallery Shop is based in the Academy of Makers at Butcher Works, 72 Arundel Street, Sheffield S1 2NS. The Academy of Makers is a project of Freeman College, which is part of the Ruskin Mill Educational Trust, a provider of training and education for young people aged 16-25 who have learning difficulties. Alongside the work of local artists and makers, All Good Stuff sells the work of Freeman College Students, which is produced under the guidance of master craftspeople who are College Tutors. All Good Stuff also provides a work experience placement for a student of Freeman College. All artists and makers pay commission on their sales at All Good Stuff. Around 95% of that commission is paid in rent to the Academy of Makers and the remainder is used to purchase packaging and other consumables such as replacement light bulbs. The gallery shop is staffed on a voluntary basis by some of the artists and makers, including the volunteer Directors of the Company. Reduced commissions are offered to other non-profit organisations who sell their work at All Good Stuff, such as Hive Sheffield and Printed by Us. We hope you will enjoy your visit to our Gallery Shop!
