The Vision Gallery CIC

A Community Interest Company Art Gallery run by volunteers showcasing local artwork by mainly Shropshire based artists as well as artists by appointment from further afield. Exhibiting drawings and paintings to their best advantage on a continuously rotating basis by artists and volunteers. The gallery initially started out as a 6 week, possibly 2 month solo art show by the Artist Mike Hatch back

in summer 2013, and because of the huge success and popularity of the temporary art show purely using an empty vacant unit in the Darwin Shopping Centre, Background to all this is when Mike help set and run GALLERIES LIVE in Telford, (at the time, part of THE VISUAL ARTS NETWORK) again, using vacant empty units in the shopping centre and promoting the arts and Artists. Mike and the Darwin Centre management decided to continue with it, and few years later- in 2017 decided to set up a CIC - COMMNITY INTEREST COMPANY and show a much more huge and varied original artworks from Shropshire artists, and only take 20% commission and small entry fees just to cover electric and other running costs. Mike continues to explore and seek out new, exciting and emerging artists from around the County to show their work. Those artists that are either to scared or aprehensive to show their work. Mike will set them at ease and encourage them to show their work. Artists wishing to exhibit can either contact through the page or come in to the gallery and pick up a form.
