🌊 Join Red Seal Safety Boats 🌊

Red Seal Safety Boats, based in Tynemouth Haven, is a volunteer run charity providing safety cover for a wide range of events on and around the water.

We are currently looking for new volunteers. No experience is needed. If you are interested in getting involved, please fill out our quick form and a member of the team will get in touch.

Great news!

We return to service from Monday, 27 April, following the completion of repairs and the review of essential monitoring equipment on the north landing.

We are pleased to be getting the crossings back up and running and our thanks go to customers for their patience during the temporary closure.

First crossing is at 6.45am on Monday from the South Shields landing.
