Situated on Southwold High Street, Buckenham Galleries is housed in a Grade II* Listed building. Spread over two floors, there are five galleries, each showing a wide variety of art work.

Lunchtime today in Southwold. Looks can be deceptive, that cold wind is still blowing! Always beautiful though! Open until 4pm!

We have had a little change around ready for the weekend. New work on display from some of our artists and we are introducing 2 new artists to the gallery. We welcome Jaqui Gowers and her beautiful watercolours and Dianne Branscombe with her amazing miniatures and still life paintings. Open today 10am - 4.30pm.

Taking it back to Tuesday when it wasn't raining!! It's been half term this week so Southwold has seen a few more visitors braving the awful weather. Everyone and their dogs were out on Tuesday taking advantage of actually being able to stay dry!

We are here along with all your High Street favourites so finish off your week with a visit, have a browse and escape the rain and see what we have on display 😊

Sue has returned to her charcoal local landmarks with this wonderful piece in the gallery. If you have ever walked from Walberswick towards Dunwich through the Di**le Marshes this landmark will be very familiar to you.

Our staircase is a beautiful feature of our Grade 2* listed building and we are showcasing work from in this space at the moment. It is a bit difficult to film without breaking my neck so hopefully this gives you an idea of Annabel's lovely work! There is also work from , and in this space.
