Foxfield Railway - War Wheels

The final vehicles have now departed Foxfield Railway. With the dust settling, it's time for a few thank yous.

Our amazing team of staff and volunteers have worked their socks off over the last 7 days to put on another fantastic event. Our thanks to all of the people from Foxfield Railways and North Staffs Military Vehicle Group who have pulled together this weekend to make the event happen.

A huge thank you to Heath House Farm for once again providing the field for public parking. Without their assistance, the event simply wouldn't be possible.

Thank you to all of the vehicle owners, reenactors and entertainers for supporting the event as well as you all did. This year saw record numbers of equipment on site and some extremely rare vehicles.

Lastly, thank you to all of the public who attended the event and supported us. The weather was challenging to say the least, but we all had a great weekend and the feedback we have received has been overwhelmingly possitive. There is room for improvement and we'll have another crack af it next year.

That's a wrap for War Wheels 2026! A big thank you to all of our staff and volunteers from Foxfield Railway and North Staffs Military Vehicle Group for another great event. The weather wasn't perfect, but we still had a great time. Roll on 2027!

Unfortunately the BBMF have called and advised that the C-47 is unservicable and the flypast is unfortunately cancelled. We thank the BBMF crews for their efforts to get the aircraft here and hope for better luck next year.

It's finally here! Gates open at 09:30.

75 vehicles, artillery firing, live entertainment throughout the day, bar, bbq and cafe open all day. It's all going off at Foxfield Railway - War Wheels !

94th Field Regiment have arrived!

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight have been in touch to confirm the C-47 Dakota, resplendent in it's new SEAC paintscheme for 2026, will be with us on Saturday at 14:10!

94th Field Regiment will be firing at 12:00 and 15:00 along with a night firing on Saturday evening.
