A 100 year old taxus hedge in accordance with the property age, clipped in August.

This hedge has undergone several ongoing transformations over several years to reimagine it as a more organic form in accordance with a formal garden design that has been completed this year.

Taking its original form with sharp cut angular sides and an apex top to a softer more flowy sculpture.

Having monitored its growth rate over the last 3 years we will now be postponing the annual trim to winter when this particular hedge will be dormant, and under less stress from the summer heat πŸŒ³β˜€οΈ
