Baubles and small Christmas cards ready, labeled and packed up ready for Plockton.

A few new designs of baubles will be heading down, but limited numbers of each available. And you can put together sets as you please.

Small Christmas cards are only available from this time of the year. I can make these to order if anyone would like. They are £2 each of 6 for £10. But I am waiting for more card stock to arrive, so won't be able to make until towards the end of October. Just drop me a message with any requests 😉

2 DAYS TO GO until the Lochalsh Craft Group 12-day exhibition and sale of crafts
We will have 20+ crafters and artisans showing and selling their wares as well as tea & coffee and light refreshments every day.
We'll be open 12th Oct until 25th October, from 10am to 4pm everyday, so plenty of time to browse all the goodies on offer... maybe a bit of Christmas shopping too.

Hare & Snowdrops

So....I haven't managed to create a new artwork yet in time for Christmas, and although I technically created this artwork for Imbolc (February) I am going to use it for a small batch of the smaller sizes Christmas cards this year. These I make available at markets in the run up to the festivities. And the first batch will be available at Plockton next week!

I may yet have a new festive design, but it won't be until I have a little time to sit and be creative for a day or two, with no interruptions....that just hasn't been possible the last few weeks 😉

From tomorrow I will be limiting what is available across in my magical place in the ether. This is because the majority of my stock will be sat in Plockton for a fortnight, so I won't have everything to hand, and I won't know for sure what has sold of some of the items, meaning I won't know what the exact stock availability is!

I will be pausing chopping boards, coasters, recycled cotton bags, and baubles (they're already hidden just now)

Because I can make cards and jewellery to order, they will be fine. You may just have to wait a day or two extra for them to be on their way to you 😉 prints as well.

I will also be reinstating postage costs - I've had free shipping available for a couple of months now, but in the run up to Christmas coming I can't leave things that way! So.....today is your last chance to order anything for a wee while that you may have had your eye on 😉 tomorrow I will be updating things online and hiding certain items until the 25th October.

And this evening we have a very happy wee boy 💙 he's spent the last hour choosing what he wants where, and making himsel...

It took 44 days from point of order to arrive complete....but finally the missing box for the wee man's new bed arrived late yesterday afternoon!

I started construction yesterday evening, because flat pack furniture is like grown up lego to me! 😂 I disappeared quietly and started figuring it all out. Got the ends done, and the shelves. But stopped for dinner, and the shoulder I stupidly pulled as I was shifting one of the boxes. So although I have a heap of stuff I need to be getting on with making for Plockton (mostly cards at this point to be honest!) I will be dropping Connor at school this morning, and then getting this bed finished today, and his room finally back together hopefully🤞back to creativity tomorrow 😉

As it's National Badger Day, here's the art these beautiful creatures have inspired this year. And the visitors I feel very privileged and lucky to have 🦡❤️ haven't seen them as much lately, and camera has been out of action for a few weeks with the weather being so windy (it kept getting blown over) but I love knowing they have made this place home, just like us.

So chuffed....my beautiful badger bowl was adopted and taken home this morning from Poolewe market! 🦡❤️ and it's just been pointed out to me....it's National Badger Day! 😉🦡❤️
