📚 Lin Treadgold will be on the platform here at the Old Station from 10:00am on Saturday the 23rd of May, singing copies of her book - The Trail to Freedom.

Set during World War II, the story follows the romance of a young couple, separated by wartime conflict - and features our very own Strathpeffer!

Pop along to meet Lin and pick up your personalised copy of the book. 🖊️

Our 2026 season begins tomorrow, when the museum will be open from 10:00.

This year, Saturdays are FREE for everyone!

Our Easter Bunny's Carrot Quest will be running throughout the holidays too, and is completely under cover to avoid any wee April showers. 🐰🥕☔️

Today, we've enjoyed working with a group of young learners in the museum.

The blackboard is always a popular feature but today's visitors used it for something a little different - they recorded each other's heights on it! ✍️📏

A welcome pop of colour in the Station garden on a bit of a dreich day. ☂️

Our crocuses were kindly donated by the Rotary Club of Dingwall a few years ago and come up in abundance - each year, putting on an even better show than the previous year! 💜
