The Mulberry Tree has been a fixture on Swanage High Street for many years and we're one of the south coast's most popular independent galleries with a passion for all things beautiful and creative. At the heart of why we do what we do is that we believe passionately in supporting British artists, makers and designers and in particular those that have a connection with our wonderful county of Dors

et. It's a wonderful privilege to be part of their lives and to help them find new audiences and support them in building a career that they love. We're lucky to have forged close ties with some of the most talented artists and crafts folk working today in Britain. We're also firm believers in giving, you our lovely customers, fresh inspiration for your homes - it's all about "making your home more beautiful"

We have an in-house framing service run by co-owner Steve who has been a framer for over 25 years, in fact since he left school at 17. We're very proud of our framing reputation and experience and all our frames are made to order. Come and visit us or browse our collection online for original paintings, limited edition prints, hand-crafted ceramics, contemporary craft, custom-made jewellery, lifestyle and homeware products, and our legendary greetings card ranges. These beautifully handcrafted birds by Annette Mackie have just flown into the gallery in time for Christmas. Using Harris Tweed and corduroy each bird stands on a vintage cotton reel or log, wearing its own little individually numbered leg ring, they all arrive in their own gift box. Without a doubt these are the most charming of ornaments, and their personalities will bring a smile into each new home this Christmas.

All calm at Pinnacles - a wonderful oil painting by our very own Ben Spurling, he's beautifully captured the - at times - calm and peaceful Dorset coastline. We have taken this walk out to the Pinnacles many times and it's impossible to get tired of this breathtaking view.
