We hope to move to new premises in late 2026 Could you survive on a weeks rations?

**Sorry but in line with many other local museums we are now Temporarily CLOSED except for the occasional school group booking and ghost hunt, when allowed when allowed**

Step Back in Time to the 1940s and learn about life on the Home Front. Walk through our Wartime Street complete with bombed out house and pub. Try on clothes and uniforms, visit the gift shop selling replica Ration Books and ID

Cards then have a Camp Coffee and Spam sandwich! Winter opening times vary as we work on updating our displays. Please check website or email for details before travelling. We do hope to be open weekdays and Saturdays in Dec.

Mumbles Hill, the obvious location for an Anti-Aircraft battery of four 3.7inch guns, for the protection of Swansea in the Second World War.
'By the summer of 1940 the need for defence against both sea and air attacks had become critical'.
