An artist collective dedicated to providing studio space, exhibition facilities and education programmes, to enhance the cultural life of Swindon. Based in the Post Modern Gallery (an old post office) in the proposed cultural quarter. We are providing a base for the community to engage in contemporary art and culture. At The Post Modern we have ten working studios rented out to artists at an affor

dable rate. There is also a large gallery and event space with continually changing exhibitions. We also have a workshop space which can be hired for use by individual artists or groups.

Swindon Paint Fest will be taking a break this year and will not be taking place in 2026.

After much consideration, we want to share this update with our community. We know how much this event means to artists, supporters, and everyone who has been part of it over the years, and we are truly grateful for all the enthusiasm, love, and encouragement we’ve received.

We look forward to returning in the future—bigger, brighter, and more vibrant.
