Dear all,
Following some recent speculation we would like to make a short announcement.
Unfortunately we have decided to stand down and relinquish our roles running the Statfold Model Railway Exhibition.
We make this decision with some regret but not without a great deal of thought.
We have really enjoyed the challenge of the last three years but under the current circumstances feel we cannot continue to organise the event. We don't wish to comment any further on our reasons for leaving publicly. One thing we would like to make clear thought is this very much a joint decision and our close friendship remains intact.
The main purpose for this post is to say thank you to all of you who have supported our event. The layout owners, the traders, the society stands and Key Publishing (Hornby Magazine) for having the faith in us to support a brand new event and keep coming back every year.
Of course, we also owe a massive thank you to all of you who came to visit the show and for all the positive feedback we received (and the few negative comments too as that's how you improve!)
Thank you all, we couldn't have done it without you.
