👉🏼 Currently exhibiting alongside five other talented artists at Line, The Artist's Journey is the exceptionally gifted 3D artist, Jane Wilson, whose creations promise to captivate audiences.

Known for her unique approach to art, Jane works from her dedicated studio in the serene rural landscape of Shropshire. Her artistry is characterised by her use of reclaimed materials, including wood, metal, and plastics, which she transforms into small sculptural constructions, abstract and patterned wall panels, and small pieces of furniture that double as works of art, combining functionality with aesthetic appeal.

Jane's artworks are renowned for their complexity, often comprising hundreds of components meticulously assembled to form a cohesive whole.

Initially trained as a textile designer specialising in embroidered textiles, Jan’s early career was deeply rooted in the intricate art of fabric decoration. Jan’s transition from textile design to fine art painting is a testament to her adaptability and creativity.

Her experience with textiles greatly influences her painting style, and the textures and layers she creates in her paintings echo the rich, tactile qualities of embroidered textiles, offering a unique visual narrative that captivates viewers.

Having begun a career in the world of technical theatre and stage management, it was the thrill of crafting props and constructing elaborate sets which captured Debs imagination, and ultimately steered her towards furniture design.

Captivated by the myriad textures and colours that timber offers, Debs' work primarily features solid hardwoods, and her dedication to giving these woods a second chance at life is evident in each piece she crafts. Her creations are not just functional but also embedded with a rich narrative, reflecting her love for the material.

The artists have already met with so many new faces, and of course a good many familiar faces too, but they would love to meet more.
