The sun is shining and the Museum is ready to open for the season on April 1st. We have recruited some more volunteers and will be opening Monday - Friday 10.30am - 3.30pm and Saturday mornings 10.30am - 1pm. We would like to also open Saturday afternoons if we can recruit a couple more volunteers? Anyone interested please email [email protected]

It’s half term week here in Thirsk! Why not bring the children to Thirsk Museum, we have a quiz (with a small chocolatey prize!) for them to do. For example what was the black, oval shaped kettle in the picture used for?? There are clues when you’re here!
